Brand new range of HPC and AI computing servers/storages from ASUS debut at COMPUTEX 2024
ASUS has introduced its extensive solutions for high-performance computing (HPC), AI, and various enterprise needs at the Data Center Solutions VIP Showcase during COMPUTEX 2024.
The latest range of servers include the RS700-E12 and RS720-E12 series created to bring superior performance and efficient power consumption with modular designs for easier maintenance.
Equipped with Intel Xeon 6 processors, ASPEED AST2600, and PFR AST1060, these servers offer enhanced CPU performance, robust out-of-band management, and improved security mainly contributed by the Intel 7 and Intel 3 processes to ensure optimal efficiency and reliability across various workloads.
To address the high data storage demands driven by HPC and AI trends, there's the VS320D series SAN storage solution, including the VS320-RS12 and VS320D-RS26 models. These solutions are tailored for a wide range of workloads, featuring dual controllers and an intuitive software interface to ensure high availability for critical applications like databases, virtualization, and media editing.
Additionally, the VS320D series supports high-speed data transmission via iSCSI and Fiber Channel to ensure reliable data access, incorporating advanced security protocols to protect sensitive information and prevent ransomware attacks.
In the realm of HPC and AI data centers, ASUS offers powerful computing solutions and efficient software platforms such as the ASUS AI Foundry Services. This comprehensive package streamlines operations and enhances productivity, including a web portal, scheduler, resource allocations, software implementation, and service operations.
By the way, they partnered with WEKA.IO to provide software-defined storage, enhancing generative AI solutions with fast, scalable, and efficient storage for AI training and inference earlier this year. Furthermore, ASUS even collaborated with Phison and Deepmentor to offer mid-sized companies an all-in-one generative AI solution, preloading complex LLMs onto a single server with a user-friendly interface for easy setup and operation.
