AW 2025 to showcase everything about smart factories and automation next week

The Smart Factory and Automation Expo will take place from March 12 to 14 at COEX in South Korea.

Under the theme "Automation to Autonomy," this year's edition is set to be the largest yet, featuring over 400 exhibitors and 2,200 booths, with an expected attendance of approximately 70,000. The event will showcase cutting-edge manufacturing technologies and solutions, including factory automation, big data, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and industrial robots.

Hyundai AutoEver and Hyundai Glovis, key suppliers of Hyundai Motor Group, will highlight smart logistics solutions and autonomous vehicles (AVs).

Attendees can also gain industry insights through more than 25 manufacturing seminars, featuring 150 sessions such as the AI Autonomous Manufacturing Conference, the Korea-China-Vietnam Robot Convergence Technology Conference, and IIoT Innovation Day.

For a more interactive experience, the "AW Booth Docent Tour" will offer expert-led on-site explanations. Additionally, the newly introduced "AW Open Innovation Round" is designed to encourage collaboration between pioneering startups and mid-to-large-scale investors.

Lee Dong-gi, President of COEX, highlighted the event’s significance, stating, "AW 2025 is truly the one time of year where everyone who's anyone in the world of digital manufacturing comes together under one roof. We hope this show serves as a prime opportunity for both exhibitors and buyers to drive digital transformation in manufacturing."
