ASUS reveals new Intel Xeon 6-equipped server lineup

ASUS has announced that its server solutions will now feature the latest Intel Xeon 6 processors, enhancing performance, efficiency, and scalability across its lineup.

The newly introduced Xeon 6900-series, 6500P/6700P-series, and 6300-series offer up to 128 P-cores or 288 E-cores per socket, along with support for PCIe 50 and DDR5-6400 memory speeds.

The 6900 series is optimized for maximum performance, making it well-suited for cloud computing, AI, and high-performance computing (HPC). Meanwhile, the 6500P and 6700P processors provide enhanced and mainstream performance for data centers, telecom, and enterprise applications. The Xeon 6300 series is designed for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs), cloud-native workloads, and edge computing.

ASUS has also integrated an updated MBC module within the ASPEED 2600 chipset, improving manageability, security, and compatibility with remote management software.

The lineup includes several server models tailored for different use cases:

  • RS700-E12/RS720-E12/RS720Q-E12: Featuring Xeon 6700P/6500 processors, these models offer scalability, a modular architecture, and flexible storage. The 1U RS700-E12 supports up to 32 DDR5 DIMMs and high-speed storage for diverse workloads. The 2U RS720-E12 is optimized for GPU acceleration and AI applications, while the RS720Q-E12 four-node server maximizes resource utilization in HPC environments.
  • RS920Q-E12: Designed for maximum performance in a 2U four-node form factor, this server runs on Xeon 6900-series processors, delivering up to 1024 cores, 96 DDR5 DIMMs with speeds up to 8800 MT/s, and advanced liquid cooling.
  • RS300-E12: A power-efficient solution for SMBs and edge computing, offering flexible storage options, advanced connectivity, and redundant power supply configurations.

With these latest offerings, ASUS continues to advance its server portfolio, providing high-performance, scalable, and efficient solutions to meet the evolving demands of modern enterprises.
