2024 Smart City Summit and Expo ready to showcase "AI Everywhere" themed smart city solutions at Taipei and Kaohsiung

Scheduled to commence next week in both Taipei and Kaohsiung, the 11th iteration of the Smart City Summit and Expo is poised to attract more than 2,000 government officials and VIPs from over 46 countries and regions.

Exploring pivotal topics such as the 'Net Zero City Leaders Summit' and 'City COP: Enhancing City Resilience through Digital Smart Solutions', attendees will delve into strategies for advancing smart and net-zero cities.

In addition to notable entities like ICLEI, CityNet, WeGO, and the Global Enabling Sustainability Initiative, the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) will unveil the final results of the Smart 21 City list.

Under the overarching theme of "AI Everywhere", the summit will also explore the imperative embedding artificial intelligence across diverse sectors, fostering improved communication between residents and governing bodies via innovations in generative AI, edge AI, or any sort of modern machine-learning augmneted solutions.

As such, a dedicated area within the expo ground dubbed 'Taiwan AI+ Cluster' will showcase the contributions of various AI enterprises toward this objective.
